Domain tracking
Vantaj tracks domain registration data so you never miss an expiry or lose visibility into your DNS configuration.
What's tracked
For each domain, Vantaj fetches and stores:

Expiry colour coding
The expiry badge in the domain list is colour-coded by days remaining:

| Green | More than 90 days |
| Amber | 31 – 90 days |
| Orange | 8 – 30 days |
| Red | 0 – 7 days, or expired |
How data is fetched
Vantaj uses RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol), the modern successor to WHOIS. RDAP provides structured JSON responses and is supported by all major registries.
Data is refreshed automatically every 24 hours. You can also trigger an immediate refresh from the domain detail panel or the 3-dot row menu.
Adding a domain
Click Add domain from the Domains page. Enter the domain name — www. and https:// are stripped automatically. Vantaj looks up RDAP data immediately on add.
Privacy-protected domains
Some registrars enable WHOIS/RDAP privacy by default. For these domains, registrar info may show as a privacy service proxy rather than your actual registrar. The expiry date and nameservers are usually still available.
DNSSEC
The DNSSEC badge shows whether the domain's DNS responses are cryptographically signed. A signed domain has delegationSigned: true in its RDAP record. Unsigned domains are not necessarily at risk, but signing adds protection against DNS spoofing.
EPP status codes
Common status flags and what they mean:

pendingDelete | Domain is pending deletion — act immediately |
redemptionPeriod | Domain expired and is in redemption — recovery possible but costly |
serverTransferProhibited | Registry-level transfer lock |
